If you’re interested in purchasing a gate with a dimension of 40 inches or more, please let us know before placing your order. Additional shipping costs may apply, and we want to ensure a smooth process for you.

To ensure a perfect fit, deduct 1.5 inches from your desired width to accommodate the latch and hinges. Additionally, remember to consider the clearance between the bottom of the gate and the ground or deck, ideally leaving a 1-2 inch gap to allow for smooth swinging without the risk of dragging.

Our standard gate height is 33 inches, but if you have specific height requirements, please message us at the time of your order. If we don’t receive any height specifications within 72 hours, your gate will be built using our standard gate height.

Please note that if your desired height exceeds the width, we will charge you at the height costs due to shipping prices.

Rest assured, our gates are meticulously sanded and prepped for painting or staining. We primarily use pressure-treated lumber, and we recommend allowing a minimum of 12 months before applying paint or stain. This crucial drying period ensures that the lumber settles properly and minimizes the risk of warping. To enhance its aesthetics, we add a ledge, router the edges, and expertly plug the screw holes. Rest easy knowing that all the necessary hardware is included. For maximum strength and security, please mount the hardware on a stud.
